I attended a nice water birth this morning for a couple who came here from Istanbul, Turkey to avoid a C-section.
She said that the cesarean rate is 90% there! Her doctor told her that her baby was too big for her to deliver vaginally.
Well guess what? He was wrong!
She had a 6 lb 13 oz boy one day before her due date!
This is another couple who came all the way from Turkey.
8 lb 3 oz baby boy born last night. I was able to leave and go to the a theater production on The Farm and then return to the birth and baby made his entrance 1 1/2 hours later! Sweet family, thanks to grandma for all of the nice massages for Mom and Dad during the day. big brother came to visit today and loves his new sibling.
