Birth Without Fear

There is a bond that mothers and midwives share that is like no other. I am grateful to every woman who has come into my life and given me the opportunity to share the joy of birth with her, who has trusted me with her care and the care of her child.

Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Midwife

I was able to give birth to both my children at home, supported by other women who shared my belief in birth as a natural process. The power of these experiences confirmed what I knew to be true. I gave birth without fear and my babies were healthy and beautiful.

Midwifery is not a profession. It is a calling.

As a child, I wanted to be strong, a woman who was not afraid. I was able to give birth to both my children at home, supported by other women who shared my belief in birth as a natural process. I gave birth without fear and my babies were healthy and beautiful.can consider yourself invited and things will become a piece of cake.

As a child, I knew I wanted to serve, to care for those in need.

I am especially grateful for the work I was able to do in Guatemala, and for my time in Belize that gave me the opportunity to pass on midwifery skills to my Mayan women friends and trainees.Tempera will be able to fulfill as well.

The birth of your baby is one of the most important moments of your life.

It has been my honor to serve as a midwife and to be with so many women for their birth experience.

I am now retired and no longer accepting clients.

"Pushing was like swimming under water--when you want to come up for air you can usually stay just a little longer. So when l’d feel like giving up during a push, I'd say to myself, “Push a little harder, this may be the one!”
